Another day, another post... Today is Thursday and I spent the day at the library. It is still raining heavily and some places are beginning to flood. I loved sitting in the library listening to the rain while I do my schoolwork. Here's what the view looked like.  Loving this rain! Anyway... Here's my day:  9 (ish) Maths 1 hour + 15 minutes times tables revision 8, 9, 12 (there will be a full times tables test next week - last week of term) Morning Tea break 10:30  English - complete and tidy up / proofread bonus chapter. It will be marked over the weekend. 11:30  French - revise current words and begin to write the speech to present to the family.  It should ideally go for 3-4 minutes. 12pm  Lunch and break 12:45  Science - NEW UNIT - Farming and Permaculture Undertake a research study into traditional and contemporary farming / gardening methods. To begin with, do some general research...

Happy Monday everyone!  I hope your weekend's went well, mine was great. On Saturday we had a home day but spent the afternoon / evening at a friends house. We had a swim, a dance party and dinner there. Then on Sunday we drove to Brisbane for my Poppy's birthday, we went to a park  and  got fish and chips. I hung out with  Indi  and our  cousin Lauren who is 2.  It was fun! Here's my day today... 7:45  head to school to drop boys off ; go to Helensvale Library In the library care for Indigo and get her some books.  Borrow some new fiction, as well as look for any relevant books on Stephen Hawking (for educational free reading) ; also on Mother Theresa who will included in a study soon.  10 (ish) home for morning tea 11am  - Maths 1 hour 12pm  - I Love a Sunburnt Country memorisation 12:30  - Lunch and break 1:15  - Write the “bonus chapter” for the end of Insurgent ...

Hey everyone!  Today was an awesome day! This morning I had the morning off and we went to the Arts Centre for morning tea and a walk. It was really nice, I didn't start school until 11am 😊 There was an art exhibition happening full of self portraits done by Aboriginal children. It was really interesting. Here's a pic of me and Miss Indigo this morning... ARTS CENTRE for coffee and check out exhibitions, walking / swimming etc. Home for morning tea 10:30/11 ish - Finish Vanuatu proposal! French revision for test which will be after lunch Revise the first stanza of the poem, and begin learning the next one Lunch and break 45 minutes French Test Divergent response - study questions. In the program there is a new Special Reflective Writing task on “Divergent”. Work through these study questions, adding them into One Note. This should take around 1 hour to complete. Hello everyone!  Today is a Wednesday and the next episode of Riverdale comes out today after a month's break so I am hyped! Anyone else excited?? Today it poured all day and it was cold! I had to pull out some warmer clothes  which was awesome because I love cold weather. Hey guys,  Yesterday I actually had a day off which is why I didn't post. It is now Tuesday here and it has been raining for the last 48 hours. I spent this morning at the library, doing school, reading books and drinking coffee. It was the perfect morning. Hey everyone, Back up to date with my days... Today is Friday!! Today I wanted to have a bit of an adventure so I went off to the library to do my schoolwork there. It was so nice and quiet. No annoying little sister to interupt me. I managed to get a lot done (including writing like 5 blog posts). Here's my day... 9am  - Maths 45 minutes ; 15 mins times tables revision 6, 7, 8 , 9 10am  15 min coffee / morning tea break 10:15am  - Try and check out / hold a copy of the books "The Help" and "Animal Farm" ; look for reference books on French History or French Culture 10:30am  - History - FINISH the Civil War / GWTW presentation! Hey everyone,  Back from my weekend! I spent the weekend with my Grandparents and yesterday too. So I had a free day yesterday and didn't do ANY schoolwork! So here's today's schedule... 9am  MATHS - 45 minutes online program 10am  ish - Morning Tea 10:30  - English - Continue working on Book/Play Review for Romeo and Juliet - due TODAY Once this is completed, move onto History until lunch time. History - Continue working on the GWTW / Civil War Presentation AND the informal paragraph (due next Wednesday) 12pm  ish - Lunch and break time 1pm  - French - Choose new words (5) for the week, and revise your others 1:30pm  - Spirituality - final revision on Worldviews as there will be a test on these on Wednesday Free time with Nanna and Grandpa :) So yeah that was my day.
