Photography and Youth Group...

Happy Friday everyone!  I hope you've all had a great week and are  ready for a fun weekend! My mum and I have a free day on Saturday and I'm planning on getting my second ear piercings done which will be great. I've wanted them for ages! Yesterday I looked after Indi while my mum did the school run to get my brothers. We made a cubby house outside on the veranda and watched the rain. Here's some pics: It was the cutest! Friday Youth Group and Art...

Hey guys,  FRIDAY!! Today was a good day, I got heaps done and enjoyed all the work. Tonight was Youth group and it was awesome!  We had an Easter egg hunt (a bit early I know, but Youth finishes up next week for the holidays). It was through the whole of Helensvale and it was really fun! Lots of running around in the dark looking for clues and chocolate. What could be better?? Anyway, here's my day... 9am  Maths 1 hour ; Times tables 15 mins 8, 9, 12 10:15  Morning tea and break 10:30  French Test! On all words and phrases so far. 10:45  Insurgent follow up - Write a “back of book” short style blurb.  11am  Insurgent Study Questions - Find these in the homeschool program. Coffee and Youth Group...

Hey everyone!  Today was an awesome day! This morning I had the morning off and we went to the Arts Centre for morning tea and a walk. It was really nice, I didn't start school until 11am 😊 There was an art exhibition happening full of self portraits done by Aboriginal children. It was really interesting. Here's a pic of me and Miss Indigo this morning... ARTS CENTRE for coffee and check out exhibitions, walking / swimming etc. Home for morning tea 10:30/11 ish - Finish Vanuatu proposal! French revision for test which will be after lunch Revise the first stanza of the poem, and begin learning the next one Lunch and break 45 minutes French Test Divergent response - study questions. In the program there is a new Special Reflective Writing task on “Divergent”. Work through these study questions, adding them into One Note. This should take around 1 hour to complete. Hey guys,  Today is Friday!!! So I only had a short day with a free afternoon! And then Youth Group tonight which was awesome! Here's my day... 9am  Maths 45 mins ; Times Tables revision 15 mins - 8, 9 and 12 10am  Morning Tea 10:15  - History - Continue researching and working on the French essay 11am  - English - Continue reading The Help 12pm  - Lunch and break time Afternoon Activities - Resume - there is a great Template in Word. Also, look up online ‘Australian resume - current’ and make sure everything on there is included.  Art activity with Indigo - edible finger paint.  That was my day and then I had youth group tonight which was really fun. We had our own mind Commonwealth Games with different activities. They were all with a twist though. Hey guys!  I am so sorry that I haven't posted in such a long time! I've been really busy with school and other things. So I promise I will catch up.  Anyway, I'll just write as if this day was today... Here is my schedule.  9am  Maths - 45 minutes online program; 15 minutes times tables 10am Morning tea break 10:15am - History - Continue to work on Gone with the Wind informal paragraph (this will be due next Wednesday), and speech (date to be advised) 11am - Arts and crafts with Indigo (little sister) 12pm - Lunch and break time 1pm - Times Tables Test - French Test (15 words) 1:30pm - English - Work on your Book Review for Romeo and Juliet 2pm - FUN FRIDAY AFTERNOON - Finish photography (this will be due on Monday by  3pm ); hunt for recipes; sew; draw/sketch/paint; watch a movie; bake something; email / write to friends; work on my blog (obviously I didn't do this!); read etc....
