Hey guys,  Happy Tuesday! I only have two more days of school left of this term after today! What am I going to do with myself for two whole weeks?! Also do you guys think I should keep blogging over the holidays? Like maybe once or twice a week? Let me know in the comments. Anyway, here's my day... 8:15  Yoga - choose one of Adrienne’s beginner yoga sessions.  Really try and listen and do the breathing etc. as she describes. Fall into the moment and enjoy the luxury of a peaceful, empty house! 9am  Maths 45 minutes ; Times tables revision 3, 4, 6 and 7 10am  Morning Tea 10:15  Art! Hey  everyone! Happy Monday!  Welcome back from the weekend, I hope you all had a great one. On Saturday my Mum and I had a day to ourselves because the other kids were with their dad's. We went to the hairdressers, had coffee out and watched a movie. It was a great day. Yesterday we spent the day at Burleigh Heads swimming and eating pizza. I also got my second ear piercings done!  Starbucks coffee on Saturday My two piercings!! My Indigo girl and I Anyway, here's my day today... 9am  Maths - 1 hour. Work swiftly and thoroughly in maths this week. 10am  Morning tea break 10:15  Revision of the poem (presenting this  off by heart  later this week) 10:30  French - 5 new words / phrases plus revision of all material covered so far. Also, practice the speech for French Day next term. 11am  Geography. - Revise the map of France, including cities, mountains and rivers...

Happy Friday everyone!  I hope you've all had a great week and are  ready for a fun weekend! My mum and I have a free day on Saturday and I'm planning on getting my second ear piercings done which will be great. I've wanted them for ages! Yesterday I looked after Indi while my mum did the school run to get my brothers. We made a cubby house outside on the veranda and watched the rain. Here's some pics: It was the cutest! Hey everyone, happy Wednesday! It is cozy weather here today. I  hasn't  stopped raining in about 24 hours and shows no sign of stopping. It's that really heavy rain too that makes you feel like  you're  drowning. Personally I love the rain, its the best kind of weather for curling up in bed with a good book and cup of tea. And thats exactly what I did this  morning . Anyway here's my day... 9am  - Maths 1 hour 10am  - Morning Tea  10:15  - Continue working on bonus chapter. When you are finished, begin the proofreading process 11am -  Continue memorising I Love a Sunburnt Country 11:30  - Read over the new French task (3), and begin researching and working on planning for this special day. 12:15  - Lunch and break — Start watching The Theory of Everything (and finish it tonight) I have officially learnt the whole poem; My Country by  Dorothe...

Happy Monday everyone!  I hope your weekend's went well, mine was great. On Saturday we had a home day but spent the afternoon / evening at a friends house. We had a swim, a dance party and dinner there. Then on Sunday we drove to Brisbane for my Poppy's birthday, we went to a park  and  got fish and chips. I hung out with  Indi  and our  cousin Lauren who is 2.  It was fun! Here's my day today... 7:45  head to school to drop boys off ; go to Helensvale Library In the library care for Indigo and get her some books.  Borrow some new fiction, as well as look for any relevant books on Stephen Hawking (for educational free reading) ; also on Mother Theresa who will included in a study soon.  10 (ish) home for morning tea 11am  - Maths 1 hour 12pm  - I Love a Sunburnt Country memorisation 12:30  - Lunch and break 1:15  - Write the “bonus chapter” for the end of Insurgent ...

Friday Youth Group and Art...

Hey guys,  FRIDAY!! Today was a good day, I got heaps done and enjoyed all the work. Tonight was Youth group and it was awesome!  We had an Easter egg hunt (a bit early I know, but Youth finishes up next week for the holidays). It was through the whole of Helensvale and it was really fun! Lots of running around in the dark looking for clues and chocolate. What could be better?? Anyway, here's my day... 9am  Maths 1 hour ; Times tables 15 mins 8, 9, 12 10:15  Morning tea and break 10:30  French Test! On all words and phrases so far. 10:45  Insurgent follow up - Write a “back of book” short style blurb.  11am  Insurgent Study Questions - Find these in the homeschool program. Hey loyal followers, if there are any!  Today is Thursday 👊🏻 Nearly Friday! Today was a bit of a catch up day finishing some things up and continuing on from recent lessons. I kept reading the poem I am  studying  'My Country', I have learnt the first 3 stanzas now and am actually enjoying the challenge of  remembering  all the lines.  Anyway, here's my day...  9am  Maths 1 hour + Revision of times tables 3, 4, 6 and 7 10:15  Morning Tea 10:30  French - Revision and continuing learning the words for this week - remember test  on Friday 10:45  - French History Essay - Read the feedback and proofread the essay 11 (ish) - Today Stephen Hawking passed away. He was an extremely intelligent man who contributed much to the world of science and mathematics. Hey guys,  So today is Monday. The beginning of Week 7!! This term is going ridiculously fast! Only three weeks of school left before the Easter holidays which is crazy. I'm really loving the work I'm doing at the moment, its all stuff I've never learnt before which is always good. Here's my day... 9am  Maths 1 hour + 15 minutes times tables revision of 4, 6 and 7. 10:15  Morning Tea break 10:30  Begin reading Animal Farm, taking notes throughout it of anything interesting / confusing / key plot points 11:30  French revision plus add 5 new words to the vocabulary list 11:45  Poetry - Continue revising / learning My Sunburnt Country Lunch break whenever finished. Shopping for materials, then Craft - headband making in the afternoon.  Extra things to do this afternoon :  Make sure ALL areas in One Note are up to date, including art with Indi, reflections, recipes, etc. Choose the next art activity to do...

Happy Valentine's Day everyone!! Look at me having another year without a Valentine. What about you? Anyone special in your life? Today was just a normal school day for me. Here's what it looked like...
