Hey guys,  Happy Tuesday! I only have two more days of school left of this term after today! What am I going to do with myself for two whole weeks?! Also do you guys think I should keep blogging over the holidays? Like maybe once or twice a week? Let me know in the comments. Anyway, here's my day... 8:15  Yoga - choose one of Adrienne’s beginner yoga sessions.  Really try and listen and do the breathing etc. as she describes. Fall into the moment and enjoy the luxury of a peaceful, empty house! 9am  Maths 45 minutes ; Times tables revision 3, 4, 6 and 7 10am  Morning Tea 10:15  Art! Happy Friday everyone!  I hope you've all had a great week and are  ready for a fun weekend! My mum and I have a free day on Saturday and I'm planning on getting my second ear piercings done which will be great. I've wanted them for ages! Yesterday I looked after Indi while my mum did the school run to get my brothers. We made a cubby house outside on the veranda and watched the rain. Here's some pics: It was the cutest! Lots of French and a bit of Art...

Hey everyone, happy Tuesday!  Today was a French kind of day. Looking at lots of language and culture things at the moment. I just found out today that next term I will be presenting a speech to my family members including my grandparents. I will also have to prepare a typical French meal and decorate as if it was a  French  restaurant. I am really looking forward to this but am a bit nervous because I have a lot to learn before then! Here's my day... 9am  Maths 45 minutes ; times tables revision 4, 6, 12 10am  Morning Tea and break 10:15  - French revision and new words for the week. Next term there will be a presentation with a French speech to some family members, so continue to add a few more phrases. Things such as “Thank you for coming” and “This is my home”, or “Let us eat” (these phrases may sound mysterious, but it will make sense once the next French unit is started) 11am  - Art - next lesson in the program...

Hey loyal followers, if there are any!  Today is Thursday 👊🏻 Nearly Friday! Today was a bit of a catch up day finishing some things up and continuing on from recent lessons. I kept reading the poem I am  studying  'My Country', I have learnt the first 3 stanzas now and am actually enjoying the challenge of  remembering  all the lines.  Anyway, here's my day...  9am  Maths 1 hour + Revision of times tables 3, 4, 6 and 7 10:15  Morning Tea 10:30  French - Revision and continuing learning the words for this week - remember test  on Friday 10:45  - French History Essay - Read the feedback and proofread the essay 11 (ish) - Today Stephen Hawking passed away. Park trip with my Indigo Girl...

Happy Hump Day!!  Today it is Wednesday so that means it's the middle of a great week. Hooray! This morning my Mum had to make an important phone call so I took Miss Indigo up to the park and we hung out there for about an hour. That's why I didn't start school until 10:15. Happy Tuesday  everyone!  Hope you're all having a great week so far, I definitely am! Today was a really great day, lots of fun activities and I was never bored. I also got 95% in a Maths test which is always a plus! Here's what I got up to today... 9am  Maths 1 hour 10am  Morning tea  10:15  - French study Task 2 - Geography (making a map of France including major cities, districts and rivers) Begin to memorise the landscapes and significant areas of interest.  11am  - Art - next lesson in the program 12(ish) Lunch 45 mins 1pm  - Continue reading Animal Farm, but firstly have a look at the “Character Tracking” added to the program, and begin to complete this in OneNote. 2/2:30 - Finish I loved my art lesson today, it was a bit  different  to the ones I normally do. Hey guys,  So today is Monday. The beginning of Week 7!! This term is going ridiculously fast! Only three weeks of school left before the Easter holidays which is crazy. I'm really loving the work I'm doing at the moment, its all stuff I've never learnt before which is always good. Here's my day... 9am  Maths 1 hour + 15 minutes times tables revision of 4, 6 and 7. 10:15  Morning Tea break 10:30  Begin reading Animal Farm, taking notes throughout it of anything interesting / confusing / key plot points 11:30  French revision plus add 5 new words to the vocabulary list 11:45  Poetry - Continue revising / learning My Sunburnt Country Lunch break whenever finished. Shopping for materials, then Craft - headband making in the afternoon.  Extra things to do this afternoon :  Make sure ALL areas in One Note are up to date, including art with Indi, reflections, recipes, etc. Choose the next art activity to do...

The Help and possible Mission trip...

Hey  everyone!  Sorry these next two posts will be a bit late. This is Thursday's post and today is Sunday here, but I'll just post as if today is Thursday. So "today's" schedule is below... 9am  Maths - Just 30 minutes, continuing with the program and preparing for tutoring later this morning. 9:30am  - History - have a break from French History research, and begin Task 4 of the Civil War Unit - reading The Help 10:30am  - Morning tea and break Get ready for Tutor 11am  - Maths Tutor 12pm  - Lunch and break 12:30pm  - French - continue with learning the new words, remembering there will be a revision test on Friday. Also, look through the new French library books. 1pm  - Write a persuasive text about why I want to go to Vanuatu on a mission trip with some family friends.  1:30pm  - Organise a social event for the coming weekend or next week. French and France...

Hey everyone!  I'm back after my weekend. I've got some Monday-itis today as I had a really great weekend. I spent Saturday up on Tamborine Mountain looking at op-shops, book stores and cafes. It was lovely. On Sunday we went to Church and then spent the afternoon at home. I hung out on the trampoline with a good book. How was your weekend?  Anyway here's my day today... 9am  Maths 45 minutes ; 15 mins revise timetables 8,9 and 12 10am  Morning Tea break 15 mins  10:15am  - English - begin working on the Comparative Essay for Romeo and Juliet.
