Science and Yoga...

Hey  everyone! Happy Monday!  Welcome back from the weekend, I hope you all had a great one. On Saturday my Mum and I had a day to ourselves because the other kids were with their dad's. We went to the hairdressers, had coffee out and watched a movie. It was a great day. Yesterday we spent the day at Burleigh Heads swimming and eating pizza. I also got my second ear piercings done!  Starbucks coffee on Saturday My two piercings!! My Indigo girl and I Anyway, here's my day today... 9am  Maths - 1 hour. Work swiftly and thoroughly in maths this week. 10am  Morning tea break 10:15  Revision of the poem (presenting this  off by heart  later this week) 10:30  French - 5 new words / phrases plus revision of all material covered so far. Also, practice the speech for French Day next term. 11am  Geography. - Revise the map of France, including cities, mountains and rivers...

Lots of French and a bit of Art...

Hey everyone, happy Tuesday!  Today was a French kind of day. Looking at lots of language and culture things at the moment. I just found out today that next term I will be presenting a speech to my family members including my grandparents. I will also have to prepare a typical French meal and decorate as if it was a  French  restaurant. I am really looking forward to this but am a bit nervous because I have a lot to learn before then! Here's my day... 9am  Maths 45 minutes ; times tables revision 4, 6, 12 10am  Morning Tea and break 10:15  - French revision and new words for the week. Next term there will be a presentation with a French speech to some family members, so continue to add a few more phrases. Things such as “Thank you for coming” and “This is my home”, or “Let us eat” (these phrases may sound mysterious, but it will make sense once the next French unit is started) 11am  - Art - next lesson in the program...

Happy Monday everyone!  I hope your weekend's went well, mine was great. On Saturday we had a home day but spent the afternoon / evening at a friends house. We had a swim, a dance party and dinner there. Then on Sunday we drove to Brisbane for my Poppy's birthday, we went to a park  and  got fish and chips. I hung out with  Indi  and our  cousin Lauren who is 2.  It was fun! Here's my day today... 7:45  head to school to drop boys off ; go to Helensvale Library In the library care for Indigo and get her some books.  Borrow some new fiction, as well as look for any relevant books on Stephen Hawking (for educational free reading) ; also on Mother Theresa who will included in a study soon.  10 (ish) home for morning tea 11am  - Maths 1 hour 12pm  - I Love a Sunburnt Country memorisation 12:30  - Lunch and break 1:15  - Write the “bonus chapter” for the end of Insurgent ...

Hey everyone,  Back from my weekend! I spent the weekend with my Grandparents and yesterday too. So I had a free day yesterday and didn't do ANY schoolwork! So here's today's schedule... 9am  MATHS - 45 minutes online program 10am  ish - Morning Tea 10:30  - English - Continue working on Book/Play Review for Romeo and Juliet - due TODAY Once this is completed, move onto History until lunch time. History - Continue working on the GWTW / Civil War Presentation AND the informal paragraph (due next Wednesday) 12pm  ish - Lunch and break time 1pm  - French - Choose new words (5) for the week, and revise your others 1:30pm  - Spirituality - final revision on Worldviews as there will be a test on these on Wednesday Free time with Nanna and Grandpa :) So yeah that was my day. Yesterday was awesome, we went out for breakfast and then spent a couple of hours at a bookshop 📚 It was a really great day. Coffee...
