Another day, another post... Today is Thursday and I spent the day at the library. It is still raining heavily and some places are beginning to flood. I loved sitting in the library listening to the rain while I do my schoolwork. Here's what the view looked like.  Loving this rain! Anyway... Here's my day:  9 (ish) Maths 1 hour + 15 minutes times tables revision 8, 9, 12 (there will be a full times tables test next week - last week of term) Morning Tea break 10:30  English - complete and tidy up / proofread bonus chapter. It will be marked over the weekend. 11:30  French - revise current words and begin to write the speech to present to the family.  It should ideally go for 3-4 minutes. 12pm  Lunch and break 12:45  Science - NEW UNIT - Farming and Permaculture Undertake a research study into traditional and contemporary farming / gardening methods. To begin with, do some general research...

Movies and Poetry...

Hey everyone, happy Wednesday! It is cozy weather here today. I  hasn't  stopped raining in about 24 hours and shows no sign of stopping. It's that really heavy rain too that makes you feel like  you're  drowning. Personally I love the rain, its the best kind of weather for curling up in bed with a good book and cup of tea. And thats exactly what I did this  morning . Anyway here's my day... 9am  - Maths 1 hour 10am  - Morning Tea  10:15  - Continue working on bonus chapter. When you are finished, begin the proofreading process 11am -  Continue memorising I Love a Sunburnt Country 11:30  - Read over the new French task (3), and begin researching and working on planning for this special day. 12:15  - Lunch and break — Start watching The Theory of Everything (and finish it tonight) I have officially learnt the whole poem; My Country by  Dorothe...

Hello everyone!  Today is a Wednesday and the next episode of Riverdale comes out today after a month's break so I am hyped! Anyone else excited?? Today it poured all day and it was cold! I had to pull out some warmer clothes  which was awesome because I love cold weather. Here's my day... 9am  Maths 1 hour 10am  Morning tea break 15 minutes 10:15am  Art - Next lesson in the program When finished make another large Waldorf rainbow star 12pm  Lunch and break 12:45  History - Write the paper on The Help 1:30pm  History - 30-45 minutes - Continue writing the essay on French history and culture. Look at having this completed by  Friday For art today I looked at Outer Space drawings using oil pastels on black paper. It had a really great effect! Rainy Library and coffee morning...

Hey guys,  Yesterday I actually had a day off which is why I didn't post. It is now Tuesday here and it has been raining for the last 48 hours. I spent this morning at the library, doing school, reading books and drinking coffee. It was the perfect morning. Here's the rest of my day... 8:30  ish - LIBRARY 8:45  Maths - 1 hour Morning tea break - 15 mins 10am  History - Continue reading ‘The Help’ - 1 hour (ish) Start working on the informative paper on 'The Help' and the message is sends.  Home - Lunch - break 45 minutes 1pm  - French - new words + revision of old ones.  Also, find  2 short phrases  rather than single words, and add these to the repertoire. There will be a revision test  on Friday . 1:30pm  - Making Waldorf rainbow stars  Today was a relatively easy and fun day but I still got a lot done. Hello everyone. Happy Tuesday!  Last night we had a huge storm come over. There was some pretty awesome thunder and lightning. It's cooled things down a lot today, which is great! It's only 23 degrees here which is a nice change. Anyway here is what my day looked like today... 9am  - Revise history essay once again, looking into why the slaves were freed and how this connects with the Civil War ending.  9:15am  - Maths 45 minutes 10am  Morning Tea 10:15am  - English / History a Reflective Writing task on the reality TV show Outback House. 11am  - English - continue working on the Comparative Essay on Romeo and Juliet  11:30am  - Art - next lesson in the program 12:30  (or whenever it's finished) - Lunch and break for 45 minutes Afternoon task - Science - There was a lovely big storm last night. Research what causes a storm to happen, and draw a creative, neat and explanatory diagram on white ...
