French and Vanuatu...

Hey there,

Today is Thursday so nearly the end of the week!! I stayed up late last night watching '10 things I hate about you'. Great movie! But I am tired today... And having an overexcited 1 year old wake you up isn't the best thing at 7 o'clock in the morning! Here's my day...

9am Maths - 1 hour

10:15am - Look at the feedback for “The Help” reflective piece, and edit.

10:30am - Please proofread the French History/Culture essay. There are some minor grammatical errors, as well as some incomplete sentences. Have the final copy ready to submit by Friday.

11am - French - language study. Please continue to revise the words. Look up any pronunciation that is confusing. Practice writing out (by hand) the words and phrases. Speaking them aloud. Listen to the pronunciation, and play around with sounding more “French”. There will be a big revision test on Friday.

11:45am - Please edit the “Vanuatu” proposal for Jenn. What's there so far is good but to continue on, there needs to be responses to all the points that are listed.

12:30pm - Lunch and break

1:15pm - Read through the first classic Australian poem, “I Love a Sunburnt Country”. Do a little research - who was Dorothea Mackellar? When was this poem written? How well known is it? Start to memorise this poem for the remainder of this term. Start with the first stanza.

Add pictures into the Art section of OneNote.

Today was a bit of a catch-up day, finishing off off my work to submit shortly. I can't believe it is nearly the end of week 6! More than halfway through the term. This year is going so fast.

QOTD is if you could go anywhere, where would you go?? I would go to Africa on a mission trip but on a holiday I would want to go to Europe.
